হত্যা মামলায় যাবজ্জীবন সাজাপ্রাপ্ত দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ পলাতক আসামী মোহাম্মদ আলাউদ্দিন @ চৌধুনী (৩২)’কে রাজধানীর বংশাল এলাকা হতে গ্রেফতার করেছে র‌্যাব-১০।

গতকাল ১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৫ তারিখ বিকাল আনুমানিক ৩,৪৫ ঘটিকায় র‌্যাব-১০ এর একটি আভিযানিক দল গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে ও তথ্য-প্রযুক্তির সহায়তায় রাজধানী ঢাকার বংশাল থানাধীন সিদ্দিক মার্কেট এর সামানে একটি অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। উক্ত অভিযানে নোয়াখালী জেলার সোনাইমুড়ী থানার মামলা নং-০৫, তারিখ-১০/১১/২০১১, জিআর-১৯৬১/১১ (নোয়াখালী), ধারা-৩৭৯/২০১/৩০২/৩৪ দন্ডবিধি; উল্লেখিত হত্যা মামলায় বিজ্ঞ আদালত কর্তৃক যাবজ্জীবন সাজাপ্রাপ্ত দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ পলাতক আসামী মোহাম্মদ আলাউদ্দিন @ চৌধুনী (৩২), পিতা- আমির হোসেন, সাং-বেতুয়াছারা, থানা-বেগমগঞ্জ, জেলা-নোয়াখালী’কে গ্রেফতার করে।

প্রাথমিক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামী উল্লেখিত মামলায় যাবজ্জীবন সাজাপ্রাপ্ত পলাতক আসামী বলে স্বীকার করেছে।

গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামীকে সংশ্লিষ্ট থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে।
